Tabata Something Else

For Reps (count all reps)
- 8 Rounds of 20/10 Pullups
- 8 Rounds of 20/10 Pushups
- 8 Rounds of 20/10 Situps
- 8 Rounds of 20/10 Air Squats

(20/10 = 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest)

Pull-Ups (first 4 rounds with assistance band, remaining 4 rounds of jumping pull-ups): Total 89
Push-Ups (first 2 rounds regular push-ups, remaining rounds modified): Total 68
Sit-Ups: Total 74
Air Squats: Total 101

Sandy also asked me put up her results –
Pull-Ups (jumping pull-ups): Total 99
Push-Ups (modified): Total 62
Sit-Ups: Total 43
Air Squats: Total 70

The ladies rocked the Tabata this morning.

The guys, well, one of them came to the gym with a full stomach and left with an empty one. So, I would say they gave it their all too.

As Rx’s;
Pullups- 55
Pushups- 62
Situps -73
Squats- 103
Total- 293

Compare to 3/4/09 – 314

I lost a few reps in each category & I can really tell I’ve not had access to a decent pullup bar for a while. Definitely got LOTS of work to do.

Oh well, at least I left with all my gastric contents where they belong! And you are right David, the ladies killed it!

The ladies did kill it. Hats off. Lots of work to do on gastric restraint and pullups.

We had three, two new members and one old friend, join us for the Tabata Something Else last night. They were all pushing themselves for that last rep and sometimes getting more reps than the previous round. Awesome job by all!
